Hala Kahiki | tropical bubbles

dedicated to Lana'i

With a sip of the “Hala Kahiki” you enter the harbor of Lana’i in the 70’s where you would be greeted by the scent of ripe pineapples from what once was the largest pineapple field in the world. The bubbled wine has an aroma of ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango and lychee.

It’s the perfect aperitif if you love tropical fruits!

PS: “Hala Kahiki” is the Hawaiian word for pineapple. When Hawaiians first saw the pineapple, they thought it resebled the Hawaiian Hala, so they named it “hala kahiki,” meaning “foreign Hala”.
