It’s harvest time!

A full year of work in the vineyard leads to an end, the days get shorter and the nights cooler. This is the time when the grapes are ready to get harvested. I love this time although it is the most stressful time of the year for me.

Since I first stepped into one of these 300years old winecellars with its huge wooden winepresses I wanted to make wine again like they did in 1750. So I decided to restore my 300 years old wine-press to experience historical wine-making techniques.
